Trevor Pennington
Trevor is Kingfisher’s Director of Construction, and his day starts the way any good construction day should. Coffee first, then chaos. After a quick scan of his to-do list and a scroll through Buildertrend, he’s fielding urgent calls before he even hits the office. By 8:30 the construction team is together, going project by project to troubleshoot whatever the day threw at them overnight. From there, Trevor’s day can go a lot of places (approval meetings on new properties, negotiating contracts, onboarding subcontractors, reviewing materials, running payroll), all with quality checks, permit issues, and field supervisor calls sprinkled in throughout.
His favorite part? Managing the construction team. Great guys, plenty of action, and nothing beats taking a rough house and getting it all the way to completion.
Before Kingfisher, Trevor worked at Paul Davis Restoration, where he built a strong foundation in construction and property rehab. He joined Kingfisher in March 2021, making him one of the longest-tenured members of the team.
He lives in Orange with his wife, a new baby, and a crazy dog. Outside of work, Trevor is a full-on outdoor enthusiast (fly fishing, hunting, boating, hiking, you name it).
What Trevor loves most about Kingfisher is the culture and the people. He’s worked plenty of places where he wouldn’t give his coworkers two minutes outside of work. Kingfisher is different. Everyone’s quality.
Two fun facts that make Trevor significantly more interesting at parties: he’s a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and he speaks German.
