Amber Houska
Amber joined Kingfisher in May 2026 as an Acquisition Rep, where she’s the one out finding potential leads, analyzing properties, conducting property visits, and negotiating purchase prices. Her favorite part of the job is finding the right property to fit the company’s needs while helping sellers move on from a property they no longer want to maintain. It’s a win-win she takes real pride in.
Before Kingfisher, Amber wore a lot of hats: Appraiser Coordinator, Executive Assistant to a CEO, Short-Term/Long-Term Rental Specialist, and Real Estate Agent. That experience gives her a well-rounded view of the entire real estate process.
Amber lives in Culpeper with her husband of almost 13 years and their three kids. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her kids, gardening, going for walks, and enjoying a glass of sparkling wine.
What Amber loves most about Kingfisher is the encouragement, support, and overall warmth of the team.
A couple of fun facts about Amber: she loves to dance, and if she could be in or near water every day of her life, she would be.
