We’ve helped thousands of Virginia homeowners through all kinds of cchallenging situations. And every one of those stories started with a real conversation and a team that showed up ready to help.
Here are the people behind the offers, the calls, and the results.
Paul Quinn
Owner
Paul Quinn is the founder of Kingfisher House Buyers and the driving force behind its mission to bring clarity, integrity, and real solutions to Virginia homeowners. A small-town Maryland native and Marine Corps veteran, Paul bought his first investment properties in 2008 while still serving on active duty.
After leaving behind a traditional 9-to-5 career in 2013, Paul followed his passion full-time, partnering in a successful investment business that flipped hundreds of homes. In 2023, he launched Kingfisher to pursue a more focused vision, one built on smart acquisitions, long-term growth, and building a team that truly puts people first.
At Kingfisher, Paul leads strategic planning and systems development, always working to improve how the company serves both its clients and its team. He’s known for his mix of vision, discipline, and heart, and for creating a culture where doing the right thing isn’t just a principle, it’s the standard.
Outside of work, Paul is a proud dad of young athletes and loves traveling with his family. He finds his greatest motivation in watching the team around him grow, thrive, and succeed together.
Jason Krause
Owner
Jason Krause is a seasoned real estate professional with over a decade of experience across both sales and investment. He began his career in 2010, leading a successful real estate sales team in the Fredericksburg area. That foundation in client service, negotiation, and market knowledge shaped how he approaches every project today.
At Kingfisher, Jason works closely with the project management team to oversee construction and renovations. He ensures every home the company touches is handled with care, precision, and a commitment to doing the job right. His leadership is built on strong communication, day-to-day collaboration, and a deep focus on helping sellers find the clarity and relief they’re looking for.
Outside of real estate, Jason enjoys traveling with his wife, Heather, and their three boys. He’s also an adventurer at heart. Each year, he ventures into the Amazon Rainforest for a personal challenge that pushes him both physically and mentally.
